Did You Have A Simple And Stable Childhood?

Recommended Posts

Did you have a simple and stable homebird childhood where you lived in only one town or city at least your whole school life with the same school friends from preschool all the way to grade 12 or did you switch schools and move allot during your childhood like a gypsy kid or military brat? I never moved as a child and when I was in grade 12. I had classmates and school friends I knew ever since I was in grade 1. Allot even way before that. My childhood was very stable and I wouldn't trade it for anything! I loved my childhood and raised my kids the same way. I never moved them so they could have very long term friendships during their school years. Did you have a stable childhood or did you move a little to frequently as a kid?

Somewhat, my parents weren't mean but they weren't perfect. My Dad was in the United State's Army most of my childhood.  We were woke up at  5 am every morning  make our beds do other small chores. If we messed up,we got whippings( with dad's Army belt) .My mother was a sweet person but if she gave you a look, you knew you were in big trouble and Dad and the belt would be involved real soon.  But they also loved us, let us be whom we wanted to be.

Yeah but did you move allot as a child or did you stay in one town or city most or all of your childhood and have long term friends from at least elementary school all the way to high school? that's what the question was.
